Basketball Recap: Percy Julian Phoenix vs. Prattville Lions
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Percy Julian Phoenix walked away with it. They blew past the Lions, posting a 105-65 win at home. Percy Julian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donavan Brown, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dunn, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Percy Julian's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Prattville, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-26.
Percy Julian will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive. Prattville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
