After a string of seven wins, Lakeland Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Davenport Broncos by a score of 39-36.
Lakeland Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Rudi Jessee, who posted 15 points along with eight boards and three steals. Jessee is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Issa Simpson, who put up six points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.
