Soccer Recap: Wesley Chapel Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Wesley Chapel and Springstead squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Wesley Chapel had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Springstead Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Wesley Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-1. As for Springstead, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3-1.

Wesley Chapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springstead, they will square off against New Smyrna Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Smyrna Beach has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 20 goals over their last three games.
