After a string of five wins, Tippecanoe's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Butler Aviators by a score of 43-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-37 back in November of 2024.

Tippecanoe's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4. As for Butler, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Tippecanoe and Butler should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Tippecanoe (ranked 164th) will meet Greenville (ranked 484th) at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Butler will square off against West Carrollton at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday up 615 places (69 vs. 684).
