Meanwhile, Mountain Grove entered their tilt with Cabool on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They claimed a resounding 62-23 win over the Bulldogs. With the Panthers ahead 37-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Mountain Grove's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Willow Springs, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Willow Springs ended up a good deal behind Mountain Grove in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, losing 60-41. Can Willow Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
