Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt an 81-20 defeat at the hands of the Lubbock Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1574th, while the Eagles are ranked 256th).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lubbock Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity has already played their next matchup (against Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lubbock Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lubbock Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
