Baseball Recap: Reedley Takes a Loss

Reedley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.38 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Immanuel Eagles. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Reedley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richie Badilla, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Reedley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5. As for Immanuel, their record now sits at 10-4.

While Reedley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
