Basketball Recap: Cannon County Takes a Loss

Cannon County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hickman County Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since November 21, 2024.

Cannon County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Hickman County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Cannon County nor Hickman County have any future games scheduled.
