Basketball Recap: Hettinger/Scranton Takes a Loss

Hettinger/Scranton suffered their biggest loss since February 2, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Killdeer Cowboys, falling 79-55. The defeat continues a trend for the Black Devils in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost five in a row.

Hettinger/Scranton now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Killdeer, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hettinger/Scranton will face off against Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beach knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Hettinger/Scranton likes a good challenge. As for Killdeer, they will challenge New Town at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in New Town's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
