Volleyball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland lost against Pepperell back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Dragons. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pepperell scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pepperell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Woodland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rockmart on the 23rd. Pepperell has also already played their next matchup (against Trion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
