Basketball Recap: Freedom Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Freedom had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lake Buena Vista Vipers by a score of 64-53. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 67-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Adrian Gonzalez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-15 to rack up 19 points. Moussa Diomande was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 12 points in addition to six boards and three blocks.

Freedom smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.
