Football Game Preview: Glenwood Titans vs. East St. Louis Flyers + How To Watch

The Glenwood Titans will take on the East St. Louis Flyers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Glenwood 15, East St. Louis 13.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Glenwood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They managed a 17-12 win over Joliet Catholic. The victory was just business as usual for the Titans, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East St. Louis, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Plainfield East 63-7 on Friday. Considering the Flyers have won six matchups by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for East St. Louis, racking up 18 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ronnie Gomiller, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

East St. Louis' win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Glenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Glenwood was taken down by East St. Louis 58-14 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Titans, Kendrick Lyons (who threw for 434 yards and six touchdowns while completing 90.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
