Soccer Recap: Grand Junction Central Finishes Even with Basalt

For the first time this season, Grand Junction Central was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Basalt Longhorns finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Coming up, Grand Junction Central will host Palisade at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Basalt, they will venture away from home to square off against Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Basalt will be up against Summit's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
