Basketball Recap: Basilica Mariners vs. Marathon Dolphins
Basilica had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 76-44 defeat at the hands of the Marathon Dolphins on Wednesday.
Marathon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Briggs Roberts led the charge by going 6 for 14 en route to 14 points plus five assists and five steals. Taylor Huff was another key player, going 8 for 13 en route to 17 points plus six rebounds.
The win got Marathon back to even at 1-1.
