Baseball Recap: Ridgecroft Takes a Loss

Ridgecroft suffered their biggest loss since March 10th on Friday. They lost 11-5 to the Halifax Academy Vikings. The Rams have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Forest Kea made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Ridgecroft's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Halifax Academy, their record is now 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgecroft will challenge Northeast Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Halifax Academy, they will square off against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
