Football Game Preview: Montgomery Red Raiders vs. Muncy Indians

Montgomery hasn't had much luck against Muncy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Red Raiders will host the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Montgomery is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Friday, Montgomery didn't have too much trouble with Cowanesque Valley as they won 21-6.

Montgomery didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Joy and Seth McClintock.

Muncy had taken Hughesville down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Indians fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 24-21.

Although Muncy took the loss, they still got scores from Andrew Walters, Nathan Rogers, and Carter Feigles.

Muncy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Montgomery, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Everything went Montgomery's way against Muncy in their previous meeting back in September, as Montgomery made off with a 27-7 win. Do the Red Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
