Basketball Recap: Crocker Has No Trouble Against Vienna

Crocker won the last time they faced Vienna and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crocker Lions were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over the Vienna Eagles. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Vienna saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Teagan James went 5-for-11 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Long, who posted five points.

Crocker's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Vienna, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Crocker will take on Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
