Bellevue won the last time they faced Clyde and things went their way on Thursday too. The Redmen had just enough and edged out the Fliers 66-63.

Clyde's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Castle, who posted 13 points and eight boards. JeCori Roberts was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Bellevue's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Clyde, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Bellevue wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against Lexington on the 24th. As for Clyde, they are taking a road trip to square off against Norwalk at 7:15 p.m. on the 30th. The Fliers will be up against the Truckers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.31 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
