Game recap: Whetstone High School Football Team beats Centennial

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Whetstone (Columbus, Ohio) jumped out to an early lead against Centennial (Columbus, Ohio) and never looked back on the way to a 42-21 victory on Saturday.

The Braves scored 13 points in the first quarter. Whetstone scored on a rushing touchdown and a touchdown pass by Ramroth Finnegan to Trent Harper.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, WHS led 34-13 at the half.

The Braves saw their 21-point halftime lead decrease to 18 entering the fourth.
