Richfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Richfield to victory were Griffin Wayman and Miles Barnett. Wayman scored 18 points, while Barnett scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wayman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Spell, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Carbon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Carter Warburton, who scored 14 points. Warburton continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Kahner Raby was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Richfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Carbon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
Richfield will take on Manti at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Richfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Manti surely won't give up without a fight. Carbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
