Basketball Recap: Milledgeville Comes Up Short

Milledgeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lena-Winslow Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Missiles of the 0-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2021.

Milledgeville's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Lena-Winslow, their win bumped their record up to 13-17.

Looking ahead, Milledgeville will face off against Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lena-Winslow, they will take on Durand at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
