Baseball Recap: CSTHEA Takes a Loss

CSTHEA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the East Hamilton Hurricanes. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hurricanes from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

CSTHEA saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Kerley, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Robby Mayes also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

CSTHEA's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

CSTHEA wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Non Varsity Opponent on the 17th. As for East Hamilton, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Rhea County on the 18th.
