Baseball Recap: Howard Lions vs. Mt. Hebron Vikings
Howard was the 8-5 winner over Mt. Hebron when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Howard Lions took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Hebron Vikings on Thursday. Howard has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Howard saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Dawes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Howard's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mt. Hebron, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will face off against Reservoir at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Hebron, they will head out on the road to challenge Atholton at 4:15 p.m. on April 19th.
