Athens strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Northeast Bradford Panthers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly four runs.

Not much got past Gretchan Hiley, who gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks to keep Northeast Bradford off the board. Hiley has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ella Coyle was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jules Pack, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Athens' victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Northeast Bradford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
