Volleyball Recap: College Station Comes Up Short

College Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cedar Park Timberwolves. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in November of 2019.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, College Station sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-27, 25-19.

College Station's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Cedar Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

College Station is taking a road trip to face off against Kingwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Park, they will play host again on Saturday to welcome Friendswood, where the match is scheduled at 11:30 a.m.
