Softball Game Preview: Westview Warriors vs. East Noble Knights

For the second straight game, Westview will face off against East Noble. The Warriors will square off against the Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Westview made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Noble, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Westview saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janissa Lehman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

East Noble has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Westview, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
