Baseball Recap: Davison Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

The matchup between Davison and Grand Blanc on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 13-8. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Carter Dirkse was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Davison: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Braylon Green, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Davison now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Grand Blanc, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davison will host Dakota at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Grand Blanc, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Linden at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
