Pioneer put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Saddleback Roadrunners with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Pioneer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Saddleback, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will be playing in front of their home fans against Cerritos at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Cerritos their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Saddleback, they will venture away from home to take on Loara at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Loara has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
