Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grimsley walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Butler Bulldogs on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Whirlies as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Allison Mulry paced Grimsley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Mulry got some help from Elizabeth Gray and her 29 assists.

Grimsley's record now sits at 27-8. As for Butler, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Looking ahead, Grimsley will welcome Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
