Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Carmen Gonzales and Nadalie Ramos Lead Fort Morgan to Victory + How To Watch

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Fort Morgan challenged Pueblo South on Saturday. The Mustangs blew past the Colts 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-16, 25-11.

Fort Morgan was led to victory by Nadalie Ramos and Carmen Gonzales. Ramos had seven aces and three digs, while Gonzales had eight digs and six aces. Those seven aces gave Ramos a new career-high. Lexxi Meyer also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Fort Morgan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Fort Morgan's record is now 2-6. As for Pueblo South, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Fort Morgan has already played their next match (against Platte Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pueblo South also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Pueblo Centennial.
