The Valley Vikings had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand East Union a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4-4 record this season. As for East Union, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10-2.
Valley will face off against Rio Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rio Linda will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Valley surely won't give up without a fight. East Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
