Baseball Recap: Seton Catholic Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Seton Catholic's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Canyon del Oro Dorados on Wednesday. The Sentinels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dorados apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Drew Campagna spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits and racked up six Ks.

Seton Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Canyon del Oro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Seton Catholic will take on Desert View in a tournament on Friday. As for Canyon del Oro, they will take on Buena at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Buena is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
