Volleyball Recap: Lakes Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lakes and Palatine squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lakes had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Lakes has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-21 record this season. As for Palatine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-17.

Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palatine, they will venture away from home to take on New Trier at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
