Soccer Recap: Jurupa Hills Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jurupa Hills had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Valley View Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Spartans wouldn't have won without Adrian Luna, who scored the game-winner.

Jurupa Hills is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Jurupa Hills will square off against Harvard-Westlake at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Harvard-Westlake sitting on five straight victories and Jurupa Hills on six. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
