Southwest Virginia Academy came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Southwest Virginia Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-19.
