Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Potomac Senior

Potomac Senior put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Bethel Academy Blazers for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-45 win. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Potomac Senior's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harlem Lyons, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 17 points. Lyons also put up a block, which was his first of the season. Dominic Mack was another key player, shooting 46% from the field en route to 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Potomac Senior smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Potomac Senior's record is now 7-0. As for Bethel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Potomac Senior will be home for the holidays to greet Gar-Field at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Red Wolves have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Bethel Academy will take on Varsity Opponent in a holiday battle on Friday.
