Basketball Game Preview: Chipley Tigers vs. Cottondale Hornets

The Chipley Tigers will head out to challenge the Cottondale Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cottondale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chipley, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, Chipley beat Ponce De Leon 47-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Cottondale's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Port St. Joe 59-55.

Cottondale's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Chipley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Chipley came up short against Cottondale in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-42. Thankfully for Chipley, Kee'Shan Hudson (who went 9 for 17 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
