Basketball Game Preview: Paramus Spartans vs. NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights

The Paramus Spartans will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Thursday, Paramus was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to Fort Lee.

Meanwhile, NV - Old Tappan unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Fair Lawn by a score of 72-69 on Thursday. The Golden Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Paramus didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against NV - Old Tappan when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-60 victory. Will Paramus repeat their success, or does NV - Old Tappan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
