Basketball Recap: South Albany's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

South Albany and Lebanon squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Albany had to settle for second. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lebanon Warriors. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Redhawks came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Warriors are ranked 131st).

With the loss, South Albany broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
