Basketball Recap: Rahway Takes a Loss

Rahway lost against Plainfield back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rahway Indians received a blow as they fell 53-35 to the Plainfield Cardinals. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rahway and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Plainfield, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Rahway and Plainfield should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Rahway (ranked 107th) will meet Cranford (ranked 259th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Plainfield will challenge Bayonne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday up 122 places (2 vs. 124).
