Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost against Fort Wayne Snider back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cadets lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

While Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-13.

Awathan Shein paced Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Shein got some help from Mason Pankop and his 14 assists. Shein was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Myo Ko was the offensive standout of the match as he had nine digs and one assist.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran and Fort Wayne Snider are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, the Cadets and Woodlan will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they will challenge Huntington North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
