Football Recap: Hollis-Brookline Takes a Loss

If Hollis-Brookline was riding high fresh off their 42-2 takedown of Pembroke last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers came up short against the Hanover Bears on Friday, falling 28-7. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Hollis-Brookline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hanover, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Hollis-Brookline will square off against Souhegan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabers' defense has only allowed 5.4 points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hanover, they will take on Manchester West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
