South Glens Falls is a perfect 5-0 against Broadalbin-Perth since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. South Glens Falls is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
While South Glens Falls' victory against Queensbury wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Spartans on Monday.

Isabelle Ames spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, South Glens Falls let Kylee Craft and Ava Kill run wild. Craft went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, while Kill went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Kill has posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Broadalbin-Perth ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Duanesburg 8-7. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
The team relied heavily on Alexis Vannostrand, who went 2-for-4 with one home run. She also scored a run, marking her first of the season. Talia Russo was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
South Glens Falls' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Broadalbin-Perth, their record is now 4-8.
Everything went South Glens Falls' way against Broadalbin-Perth in their previous meeting on April 9th, as South Glens Falls made off with a 15-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
