Flowers is 9-1 against Suitland since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Flowers will face off against Suitland. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Flowers lost 16-2 to Bowie on Saturday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Luke Hartman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Suitland had to start their season on the road last Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meade. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Flowers now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Suitland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Flowers' way against Suitland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Flowers made off with a 31-1 victory. Does Flowers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Suitland turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
