Softball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Chargers vs. Acadiana Rams

The Westminster Christian Academy Chargers will challenge the Acadiana Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Westminster Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Westminster Christian Academy came up short against Washington-Marion and fell 7-4. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brylee Nero made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. That stolen base was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Acadiana fell victim to Sulphur and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Golden Tors. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Acadiana's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
