Softball Recap: Chewelah Cougars vs. Liberty Lancers
Chewelah is still looking for their season's first win. They lost 16-4 to the Liberty Lancers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Chewelah of the 22-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Saturday.
For Liberty's part, Jesse Brumley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. Brumley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
