Volleyball Game Preview: Scappoose Indians vs. St. Helens Lions

The Scappoose Indians will head out to take on the St. Helens Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Scappoose turned things around against Seaside on Thursday. They blew past the Seagulls 3-0. The Indians not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, St. Helens hadn't done well against Tillamook recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cheesemakers. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cheesemakers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Scappoose's record is now 7-15. As for St. Helens, their record now sits at 11-5.

Scappoose came up short against St. Helens in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
