St. Mary Prep extended the longest winning streak in Catholic Central this week by beating Brother Rice, 24-14. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Eaglets.

Catholic Central led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on University of Detroit Jesuit.

Brother Rice's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cheyne Lacanaria has thrown for 630 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Corey Lacanaria has 22 catches for 385 yards. Brian Walker leads the league in rushing with 480 yards.

The marquee game in Catholic Central this week will be the clash between the Warriors and the Shamrocks. Brother Rice enters the game ranked eighth in the state, while Catholic Central ranks sixth.
