Recap: Odessa Tigers vs. Oakesdale Nighthawks
After flying high against the Selkirk Rangers last Friday, the Odessa Tigers came back down to earth. Odessa took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakesdale on Tuesday. Odessa has not had much luck with Oakesdale recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Odessa still got an impressive performance from Jacob Scrupps, who scored 29 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Dakota Steward was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oakesdale, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Odessa will head out on the road to face off against Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakesdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garfield-Palouse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
