Merrill has gone 8-2 against St. Charles recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vandals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Merrill fell victim to Fulton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Pirates. Surprisingly, this marked the Vandals' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Birch Run, falling 9-0.

Merrill's loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for St. Charles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Merrill took their win against St. Charles when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Vandals repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
